Capitol Tweed is Poe & Company Limited's most lavish grade of fabric in our flat cap line. Our Capitol Tweed is a majestic, steel-gray herringbone weave. It hosts a pencil thin, royal blue stripe front to back, with delicate crimson cross-overs. Its smooth texture comes from the work put in at the milliner who packs as many threads into an inch as possible. You can tell by touching this fabric that it simply looks and feels, well? Smooth! This is due to the 100% Yorkshire wool that weighs in at over 500 grams per square meter.
